Ball Knob - for gear lever (hand not remote operation)

if you are changing gear by hand this will take the pain out of it.

it will also fit if you have a teleflex system sensibly fitted too.

its not vital but if you have a stiff lever, please lubricate the lever shaft from above with penetrating oil and white grease (catch rag underneath then you can really submerge it!) . in salt air the shaft o-ring grease driess out after 40 years and may rust or seize its shaft.

it should be possible to change gear with fingertip control at low revs/idle with a nicely built gearbox.
