IMPORT VAT/DUTY

  • UK customers pay ZERO VAT or duties (i am not VAT -registered)
  • USA/CANADA, usually >$100 , DUTY=10%
  • EU: since BREXIT, the EU has decided to take  'import VAT' from it's residents ( >£135 , 'import VAT' =20% )  plus small  'collection charges' 
  • if your order is more than £100, select tracked shipping e.g. FEDEX
  • it is your responsibility (not mine) to anticipate/pay your local import taxes

Australia is particularly harsh. The HS number is usually 8407290020 "Marine Propulsion Engines, Other" .
