refurbished Bracket ("support Plate" for remote-controls of Tillotson carburettor)

All Vire 7 came with this bracket, it fits between the Tillotson carburettor and the cylinder, with a sealing gasket both sides between (included)

some owners lost or removed this or they did not receive with an engine they purchased?

The purpose is :

1. has 2 drilled holes , so you can fit levers or clamps above the carburettor in a fixed position, these controls allow remote control of the carburettor by 33c morse controls / bowden cables etc (not included)

2. the plate and it's 2 gaskets are approx 3mm thiick, without this you would not be able to fix on the carburettor easily unless you added many gaskets instead (studs hit the carb body)

some 1970s had cheap steel clamps on bicycle type cables, but later on the 33c equipment was fitted as standard so, there is some expected work for you to do to fit your own remote parts nicely i cannot do for you.

I have refurbished these original plates, by sanding off loose paint and rust, and spraying with paint.

i will include: 2 x new gaskets, and 2 new s/s nuts

Note: NOT INCLUDED - if you require the small moving parts that fit onto this, (see page 34 #11-16 etc) please contact me before purchase with an exact drawing or photographs of your engine control ends and existing brackets. i do not list those parts as they vary too much.
