prop Shaft Bearing ( ID 1"/25.4mm )

New old Stock, not a copy!

valmet designed the propshaft so it's rear bearing (this~) could easily be replaced, please check your shaft is 1" and has replacable black bearing 61mm long , before ordering

on some boats, there are 2 bronze nuts facting aft, that hold the bearing carrier , this carrier holds the bearing in place, the nuts clamp it forwarrds squeezing the bearing tight on the end of the stern tube, so its then easily replaceable. you would need to remove your propeller of course, thats all.

please be aware the clearance between your shaft and the bearing has to be at least 0.2mm up to 2mm, this is so the water can cool the bearing, so DONT replace your bearing just because you can find a little clearance in the shaft when you waggle your prop to test.
