These are extremely rare, because commonly owners allow their water pipe to become loose and then the mix of corrosive gas and seawater on the aluminium corrode at an accelerated rate, and if the leak is not fixed, eventually it rots the exhaust and elbow further.
Changing for your old one is simple; remove water injection pipe from valve, remove rubber exhaust pipe which is usually a jubilee clip, 2 nuts holding exhaust on.
